Comfortable, rain-free conditions will mark July 4th in the area, AccuWeather.com reports in an updated forecast for Tuesday.

The high temperature will be around or slightly above 80 degrees during the day, before becoming more spring-like at night.

"Those heading out to watch firework displays will want to pack a light jacket or long-sleeved shirt," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said.

There is just a slight chance of morning showers Tuesday before 10 a.m., before skies clear for a mostly sunny day.

The fair weather continues Wednesday with mostly sunny skies and a high in the low-80s.

Thursday will be partly sunny with a high around 80.

Friday could be stormy with showers and thunderstorms possible and a high in the mid-80s.
