MONSEY, N.Y. -- A Ramapo-based developer has put forward a proposal for a 600-unit housing complex featuring three-dozen buildings on Route 59 where the Rockland Drive-In Theatre previously stood, according to lohud.com.
A representative for Wesley Hills, the development company says it would feature a mix of rentals, condominiums and brownstones with plans to feature walkways and green space including an integrated community, according to lohud.com.
The firm said the area would create needed housing and improvements to an unused site since 1987. They have previously developed a former Pathmark shopping center in the Town Square, according to lohud.com.
