A Connecticut woman is accused of stealing more than $50,000 from a nonprofit that supports local young people, authorities said.
Jennifer Green, 48, of Oakdale, faces charges of first-degree larceny, first-degree computer crime, and third-degree identity theft, according to Connecticut State Police.

Video Shows Ex-Bridgeport Officer Pocketing Cash During Bodega Raid: Police
A former Connecticut police officer is accused of taking as much as $2,000 in cash during a raid at a bodega, authorities said.
Matthew A. Johnson, 42, of Stratford, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 3, and charged with tampering with physical evidence, Connecticut State Police said.
Johnson was a member of the Bridgeport Police Department’s Tactical Narcotics Team. He left the department on Oct. 8, according to his arrest warrant.
Investigators said Johnson helped execute a search warrant at Shorty’s Deli on East Main Street on Dec. 2, 2022.
