Suffern's Own 'America's Got Talent' Star Will Perform At Boulders' Stadium

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Suffern's own Grace VanderWaal who drew national attention in June for her performance on "America's Got Talent," announced on her Facebook page that she will perform this Friday at 6 p.m. at Palisades Credit Union Park.

A 12-year-old ukulele player gets the golden buzzer when she takes a risk and performs an original tune, "I Don't Know My Name."

The 12-year-old's performance is part of the Ramapo Summer Concert Series 2016. VanderWaal, who lives in Suffern, was dubbed the "next Taylor Swift" by judge Simon Cowell on AGT after she performed her original song, "I Don't Know My Name." 

VanderWaal will appear in the live performance round of the show on July 26. 

Tickets to the concert this Friday are available here. The show will also include performances from Granger Smith featuring Earl Dibbles, Jr. and special guest William Michael Morgan.
