RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Alexandria Evans, a graphic designer and member of the Suffern Chamber of Commerce, is one of Daily Voice's community advisors for its Ramapo site.
Community advisors provide Daily Voice with tips for news and events.
Until recently, Evans considered herself a graphic designer. Then a business associate and friend, shined light on the broad work she does and gave me her a new perspective. Her designs and marketing skills had an impact on human rights organizations. As such, she rebranded and is now a "social change" graphics artist.
Evans is part of a growing movement of designers looking to use their skills for the greater good. For certain clients she takes an active position in leadership, using her skills as a designer, social media marketer, network administrator and event planner. For others, she ignites and/or amplifies a specific event, program or a cause that benefits communities and positive social change.
Evans has a penchant for working with those who offer social opportunities thru art, culture, music, the great outdoors and healthy living. She enjoys uniting people to experience artistic expression and cultural diversity. together.
