Suffern's Grace VanderWaal Has Big Plans For 'America's Got Talent' Prize

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Following in the footsteps of other musical altruists, Suffern resident Grace VanderWaal says she'll spend part of the $1 million she won from "America's Got Talent" on charity, according to people.com.

Of course, the 12-year-old said she'll also buy herself a little something: a treehouse from the show "Treehouse Masters," according to people.com.

VanderWaal, who has been compared to such sensations as Taylor Swift, competed in the "America's Got Talent" finale last Wednesday, wowing judges as she'd done since June.

A ukulele player, VanderWaal is to headline a series of Las Vegas shows on Oct. 27, 28, 29 at Planet Hollywood.
