Two drivers, including a teenager from Long Island and a healthcare business executive, were killed in a head-on crash on Route 28 in Ulster County after one vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, police said.
The crash happened on Route 28 in Olive around 6:47 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, according to New York State Police.

Authorities have released additional details, including the motive, in the deaths of a retired Hudson Valley fire chief and his wife.
James "Jimmy" Brugger, 66, shot his wife, Melinda "Mindy" Brugger, 54, multiple times at their home on Milton Turnpike in the Town of Plattekill, representatives of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, Aug. 24, following an investigation into the couple's deaths.
