Police have released more details about a head-on minivan crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland County that injured nine people and left a child in critical condition.
The crash happened at around 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 11 in Ramapo, as Daily Voice previously reported.

Two people were struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while standing outside of their vehicle on Interstate 95 in Westchester County.
The fatal collision happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, on the southbound side of Interstate 95 near mile marker 14.2 in the Village of Port Chester, New York State Police confirmed in an announcement on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
