'Black Tails' Gala To Raise Funds For Pomona Animal Shelter

POMONA, N.Y. -- The Hi Tor Animal Care Center will be holding a fundraiser next month to benefit the four-legged residents of its Pomona facility.

The shelter’s “Black Tails” gala is set for 6-11 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the New York Country Club.

The club is located at 103 Brick Church Road in New Hempstead.

Featured will be dinner, dancing, raffles, and a silent auction.

Tickets are $100 for individuals and $900 for a table of 10.

Honorees will be state Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski of New City and Rockland County Legislator John Murphy.

Mistress of ceremonies will be radio disk jockey Maria Milito of Q104.3.

Proceeds will go to benefit the shelter, which is located at 65 Firemen’s Memorial Drive.
