The man, whose beard is partially gray, demanded cash from a female bank teller about 12:18 p.m., implying he was armed, police told lohud.com.
Police said the teller handed the man several $100 and $20 bills, but did not disclosed exactly how much was taken.
According to the report, the man then quickly left the bank and disappeared in the parking lot of a nearby Burger King.
Spring Valley police are reviewing security footage and working with the Rockland County District Attorney's Office to further the investigation, according to the report.
