Scottie Scheffler somehow finished tied for 12th at the BMW Championship. Turns out, just gripping his golf club was painful.
The Ridgewood-born golfer revealed after finishing 7-under-par (273) on Sunday, Aug. 23 in St. Louis, that he had battled hand, foot and mouth disease throughout the tournament.
Scheffler, 30, told TenGolf he became sick Monday night, which was “probably the most frustrating part.”
