Woman, 32, Found Dead At State Park On Long Island (Developing)
New York State Police are investigating after a woman's body was discovered at a state park on the eastern tip of Long Island.
The investigation into the woman's death began on Thursday, June 11, at around 1:42 p.m., when troopers responded to Montauk Point East Overlook in Camp Hero State Park in Montauk following reports of a deceased person, New York State Police announced on Friday, June 12.
Once they arrived, investigators found the body of a woman, according to State Police.
The woman was later identified as Lauren Balik, 35, of New York City.
