Chestnut Ridge Man Arrested With 38 Packages Of Suboxone

CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. -- A man from Chestnut Ridge was charged with drug possession Tuesday following a traffic stop, according to Stony Point Police.

Angelo Savage, 35, was was reportedly found in possession of 38 packages of suboxone, police said.

It is further alleged that during the traffic stop, Savage falsely identified himself, according to police.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation.

Savage was issued an appearance ticket for Aug. 2 and turned over to Haverstraw Police Department on an active bench warrant for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
