The alert for Andy Yurowitz of Monsey was cancelled around 9 a.m. Sunday after he'd been reported missing about two hours earlier.
" A local resident flagged down one of our officers and told him he believed this was the missing man from Rockland," Teaneck Lt. Thomas Tully told Daily Voice. "He was safe and sound.
"His son came and took him back home."
Yurowtiz, who authorities said has dementia, once worked for E.F. Hutton in Manhattan and was involved in a money laundering case in the late 1980s in which a federal judge ordered the charges against him dropped.
