RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Town of Ramapo Police Department investigated nine motor vehicle accidents and responded to 203 calls for service on Wednesday, May 25.
The accident on Main Street in Hillcrest resulted in an injury. Property damage resulted from the accidents on Dyster Way, Main Street and Route 306 in Monsey, Route 306, New Hempstead Road and Main Street in the Village of New Hempstead, Old Nyack Turnpike in the Village of Chestnut Ridge and Orange Turnpike in the Village of Sloatsburg.
The 203 service calls included 10 medical emergencies, 13 alarm activations, 11 fires and two arrests for charges for marijuana possession and a warrant of arrest.
