SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A Suffern man has been charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession of marijuana after police received a report of a person driving erratically on Lancaster Driver on Wednesday.
According to police, the 30-year-old unidentified man was driving so erratically that a concerned citizen contacted the department to report that he was driving all over the road, police said.
Responding officers located the vehicle and, after an investigation, arrested the driver, who was later released on bail, police said.
Suffern police added that despite repeated warnings, residents still continue to drive under the influence and wanted to thank the citizen who reported the incident.
