RAMAPO, N.Y. -- As soon as the current winter an agreement could be reached over the sale of 160 acres owned by Novartis pharmaceutical in Suffern (a part is located in Montebello), according to lohud.com.
The large campus, a former producer of tablets, capsules, vials and inhalation products for Novartis closed two years ago. In 2014, the company said the pharmaceutical division would be restructured and 20 or more sites would close, inclusive of the site in Rockland County, the article says.
The property's listing broker is Andrew Merin, of Cushman and Wakefield's Metropolitan Area Capital Markets Group and there are two developers that could potentially be its buyer, lohud.com says.
