Beacon Woman Killed In Two-Car Crash A Dutchess County woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Columbia County, according to New York State Police. Sibilla Patrizi, 60, of Beacon, was killed Thursday around 4 p.m., after hitting the load of a commercial vehicle traveling northbound on Route 9G near Germantown, said Trooper A.J. Hicks. Patrizi was traveling south, near Palatine Park Road, when she hit the vehicle, Hicks said.  She was found deceased at the scene, he added. The roadway was closed for more than two hours following the crash. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

ID Released For Victim In Fatal I-87 Crash New York State Police have identified the victim of a fatal I-87 crash in Woodbury on Saturday as a 24-year-old Elmhurst man. Eric Luzardo died in the 9:30 p.m. two-car crash when the driver's of one of the vehicles "committed a driver error," while traveling northbound in the Town of Woodbury, said Trooper Michael Cassella. Five other people were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, he added. The northbound lanes of the Thruway were closed for hours following the crash.  The investigation is still ongoing, and charges may be pending.

Keith Matthews, 33, of Putnam Valley was arrested on Tuesday after being stopped around 3:20 p.m. on the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley for speeding, said Capt. William McNamara. ID Released For Woman Killed In Ossining Fire A 58-year-old Northern Westchester woman who died during an early morning fire on Friday has been identified. A lit cigarette likely caused the blaze that caused Ann Marie Carroll-McElligott to perish from smoke inhalation at the Waterview on the Hudson apartment complex in Ossining, according to Police Chief Kevin Sylvester.
