Teen Blocked Police Vehicle At Northeast Philly Car Meet: Authorities
Three people were arrested when police broke up a car meet in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday night. Authorities said they arrived at the 500 block of Adams Avenue to find some 200 people and around 100 vehicles. An officer activated his lights and sirens after bystanders "encircled" his car, PPD said. Bank Robber Makes Off With $2,100 In Schuylkill County: State Police
State troopers are investigating a bank robbery in McAdoo on Thursday, May 30. Police said the suspect walked into the First National Bank, 25 N. Kennedy Drive, and passed the teller a note demanding money around 10:45 a.m. He made off with $2,100, fleeing on foot toward East 4th Street before heading south on North Cleveland Street, troopers said. Pennsylvania Police Chief, Dies Less Than 1 Month After Promotion
Less than one month after he was sworn in Greencastle Police Department Chief, Keith Russell has died, according to a release by the department on Saturday, June 6. Chief Russell passed away from an "off duty medical death," according to the Greencastle PD. No additional information about his death was available at the time of publishing. Two children have died after being pulled from a pool at a Gloucester County home, authorities confirmed. A Florida-based company is recalling whole cucumbers that were shipped to 14 states, but may be contaminated with Salmonella, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced. Lehigh Valley Motorcyclist, 19, Dies After Crash: Coroner
A 19-year-old man has died from his injuries after a motorcycle crash in Walnutport, according to officials. Eliam Emanuel Buchanan-Ramos' motorcycle collided with another vehicle on Riverview Drive around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg where he died from complications of multiple traumatic injuries on Sunday afternoon, officials said. His death was ruled accidental.
