Brandon William Hampson, 55, stabbed Rachel Frislid, 62, to death inside her home in Sayville, NY, on Thursday, Sept. 3, the Suffolk County (NY) Police Department said Thursday, Sept. 10.

A yacht owner faces multiple charges after a young employee said he allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted her aboard a vessel in Nantucket Harbor last month, according to a news report.
Christian Bradley Williams, 54, of Florida, was arraigned Friday, Sept. 4, in connection with the alleged Aug. 9 attack. The 22-year-old woman had started working as a deckhand aboard his yacht, Chimera, in June. She received housing on the boat in exchange for the work.

A 33-year-old Bronx man was arrested and charged after he drove drunk with children in the car in Fairfield, authorities announced Thursday, Sept. 10, authorities said.
At 2:06 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30, officers observed a black Dodge Durango driving the wrong way on Route 46, westbound in the eastbound lanes, Fairfield police said.
