Sinkhole Shuts Down Busy Road In Westchester (Developing) A sinkhole has forced the closure of a busy stretch of roadway in Westchester County, police said. The southbound lanes of Central Park Avenue in Yonkers are closed between Yonkers Avenue and Boone Street because of a sinkhole stretching across the travel lanes, Yonkers Police said at around 1:07 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29.  Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and expect congestion on surrounding roads while the closure remains in place.  Police did not say what caused the sinkhole, how large it is, or when the roadway is expected to reopen. Mom Left 4 Young Kids Home Alone To Take Bahamas Cruise: Reports A mother was accused of leaving her four young children home alone while she went on a three-day cruise to the Bahamas, according to reports. Nathalie Belizaire, 29, was arrested after returning to PortMiami on Monday, Sept. 28, WPLG Local 10 reported. She faces four counts of child neglect without great bodily harm. Belizaire left her four children, including a 2-month-old baby and a 2-year-old child, alone at her North Miami Beach apartment while traveling aboard the Carnival Conquest, police said.
