Congers Ultimate Yard Sale, Flea Market Rained Out, Makeup Date Announced
CONGERS, N.Y. -- The rain may have put a damper on the fifth annual Congers Ultimate Yard Sale and Flea Market on Saturday, but the sun will come out again -- hopefully for the event's scheduled rain date this weekend.The yard sale and flea market is now scheduled from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, according to the Veterans Memorial Association of Congers, Inc. (VMA), the local group organizing the event.

Comedy Night Returns To Skyline Lake
RINGWOOD, N.J. -- It's almost time for comedy night at the Skyline Lake Firehouse in Ringwood.
The Skyline Lake Fire Department (SLFD) will be holding its next semi-annual Comedy Night on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $35 each, and include food, beverages and comedy. Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.

Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge Sets Adorable Fall Fest
OAKLAND, N.J. — An adorable fall festival is coming to Oakland next month, thanks to Rampo-Bergen Animal Refuge.
Pitbulls and Pumpkins will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9 at the Shelter Lane shelter from noon to 4 p.m.
In honor of Pitbull Awareness Month, the event will feature crafts, face-painting,art, food trucks, vendors, give-aways, family photos, adoptable animals and more.
