Head-On Tesla Crash Kills PA Man In NJ: Cops
A 68-year-old Pennsylvania man was killed when a Tesla crossed the median of Route 55 and struck his SUV in South Jersey on Saturday morning, Aug. 22, authorities said.
The crash happened on Route 55 north at milepost 34.6 in Vineland at 8:31 a.m., New Jersey State Police Detective Sgt. Caitlin Brennan said.
A Tesla was heading south when its driver lost control, ran off the left side of the road, crossed the grass median, struck a tree, and entered the northbound lanes, Brennan said. The Tesla then struck a northbound Chevrolet SUV, according to Brennan.
