More than a dozen people, most of whom were Penn State students at the time, and the father of one are accused in a years-long cocaine trafficking operation tied to two fraternity houses, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Monday, Aug. 17.
Fourteen people were charged following a statewide investigating grand jury probe dubbed "Operation Drugs Unlimited," which uncovered kilos of cocaine allegedly transported from Philadelphia and New York to State College in 2023 and 2024, Sunday said.

Ex-Cambridge Professor Found Dead Amid Plagiarism Scandal: Reports
Jason Arday, the Cambridge professor embroiled in a plagiarism scandal, has been found dead at his home in London, England, according to multiple published reports. He was 41 years old.
Arday's death came one week after he resigned from the University of Cambridge, where he became the youngest Black professor when he was hired as a sociology professor in 2023.
