A Pennsylvania man is accused of scamming an elderly woman into believing $18,000 from her bank account was used to purchase pornography, then stealing more than $3 million in gold bars, authorities announced on Monday, July 28.
Dharmikkumar Sutariya, 25, of Scranton, is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly posing as a “courier” to defraud a 68-year-old Upper Milford Township woman, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan said in a release.

A 31-year-old Florida man is facing charges after allegedly scamming an elderly Montgomery County woman out of $20,000 in a bogus tech support refund scheme, police said.
Charles Horlesen, of Kissimmee, FL, was arrested Wednesday, July 23, in Queen Anne’s County, according to Montgomery County Police.
The investigation began on Monday, July 21, when Horlesen allegedly met with the woman, who believed she had a problem with her Norton antivirus software.

Two men were busted in Wallington after police say they were caught on borough surveillance cameras with drugs and stolen ID cards.
The arrests happened on Friday, July 18, when officers Wojcik and Officer Ventura, monitoring a corner camera, spotted two men acting suspiciously, Wallington Detective Lt. Joseph Rock said.
